DELOITTE SMART FACTORY, WICHITA

Supporting Electrosonic Inc., JPSS provided technical direction for Deloitte’s Smart Factory in Wichita, coordinating BMS, door control, show control, video and conferencing systems into one cohesive operational environment.

Integrated digital experience environment at Deloitte Smart Factory in Wichita

Deloitte’s Smart Factory brings building technology, interactive media, operational data and collaborative systems together within a connected demonstration environment.

The challenge was not the performance of any single discipline, but ensuring that BMS, door control, show control, video and conferencing systems could communicate, respond and operate as one coordinated platform.

Electrosonic Inc. led the wider AV delivery, with JPSS brought in to provide technical direction across the interfaces between disciplines. Our role was to align the teams, system behaviours and operational requirements so the complete environment worked cohesively.

Our contributions included:

  • Cross-discipline technical direction, bringing the specialist teams and system responsibilities into one coordinated delivery framework.
  • BMS and door-control coordination, defining the interfaces, triggers, feedback and operational dependencies between building and experience systems.
  • Show-control coordination to establish clear system states, sequences and responses across the connected environment.
  • Video and conferencing systems alignment, ensuring collaborative and presentation technologies worked consistently within the wider operational architecture.
  • System-level testing, issue resolution and technical assurance across discipline boundaries to support a reliable handover.

The result is a cohesive technical environment in which building, control, video and conferencing systems operate together predictably rather than as isolated packages.

For Electrosonic and the end client, this reduced interface risk, strengthened coordination between suppliers and created a clearer path from individual system delivery to reliable whole-system operation.
