Yas Waterworld is a large-scale themed waterpark where dependable park-wide control is essential to daily operation. The technical platform needed to support distributed audio services, staff paging, operator interfaces and coordinated triggering across a complex outdoor attraction environment.

Creative Technology Middle East led the wider delivery and appointed JPSS as a specialist Q-SYS programming and commissioning partner. JPSS reviewed and refined the existing Q-SYS Designer project, supported the rollout of custom paging stations, configured user-control interfaces and developed the logic required to coordinate Q-SYS with the park’s ETC Paradigm and Mosaic lighting systems.

The work was completed through close coordination with Creative Technology Middle East and the wider site team, with a clear focus on reliable operation, straightforward operator control and a robust handover for the park’s opening.

Our specialist scope included:

  • Review and final refinement of the park-wide Q-SYS Designer project.
  • Programming and validation of custom eight-button paging stations across the system.
  • Configuration and user testing of Q-SYS UCI touchscreen interfaces.
  • Control logic and triggering between Q-SYS and the ETC Paradigm and Mosaic lighting systems.
  • Support for fire-system testing, final programming refinements and on-site system validation.
  • Close technical coordination with Creative Technology Middle East and the wider project team.

The result was a coordinated, operationally clear Q-SYS platform ready to support the park’s expanded guest experience. Official aerial park imagery courtesy of Miral.
